CIRCLE OF SERBIAN SISTERS - HISTORY

One of the early accomplishments of the first President of the Yugoslav National Home, John Petrovich, was to facilitate the organization of the KSS. To this end, the Queen Marie Chapter, Circle of Serbian Sisters was formed in 1932 under the leadership of Mary Petrovich, among others. The Queen Marie Chapter, KSS is the only St. Nicholas ancillary organization which was part of the original Yugoslav National Home. The Kolo in Indianapolis is made of steel, and proudly serves the community now, as it has for the past 70 plus years.
